Why isn't the recteq Flagship 1100 on this list?

recteq discontinued the Flagship 1100; it's been replaced in the lineup by the Flagship 1600, which is what we verified and included here instead.

Is this recteq listing sold by Amazon or by recteq?

It's sold through recteq's own official storefront on Amazon rather than Amazon.com directly or an unrelated third-party seller.

recteq Flagship 1600 (substituted for recteq Flagship 1100): What to Know

The original candidate for this slot, the recteq Flagship 1100, has been discontinued by recteq — it doesn't appear on recteq.com anymore and there's no active Amazon listing for it under any ASIN we could find. recteq folded that model into a broader 2024-2025 lineup overhaul, and the Flagship 1600 is the direct, current-generation replacement: same 'Flagship' badge, more cooking space, an added third shelf, and an updated grease-management system.

recteq has historically leaned on direct-to-consumer sales through recteq.com rather than Amazon, which is exactly why we checked this carefully instead of assuming brand presence carried over. The Flagship 1600 does have a genuine, actively-sold listing on Amazon — sold through recteq's own official Amazon storefront rather than a random reseller — with over two thousand customer ratings, which is a strong signal it's a real, established listing and not a thin or abandoned one.

The specific SKU we verified is the 'Grilling Basics Bundle' configuration: the 1,600-square-inch grill plus a starter accessory kit, rather than the bare grill sold alone. If you've already got grilling tools and don't need the bundle extras, recteq also lists a grill-only Flagship 1600 configuration under a separate ASIN — either way you're getting the same cooker.
